• Senior Finance Systems (Oracle) Accountant for ASX listed Fintech company
• Top tier Executive team; high growth prospects
• $150,000 plus super plus bonus CBD Based

Purpose of the Role:

This role is responsible for the ongoing support of the finance systems (Oracle Financials, FCM leasing system and Finpower/Select cards system).  It involves supporting business as usual system maintenance, leading finance system elements of change programs, providing system training and identifying and implementing continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities

• Work closely with IT to ensure the smooth running of the financial systems (all systems – Oracle, FCM, Finpower, Select etc.) through coordination of testing of Oracle patches and upgrades and being Finance’s representative on systems change releases
• Leading projects related to the Oracle system as and when they arise
• Responsible for ensuring integrity of source systems interfacing into Oracle
• Responsible for ensuring that the documentation of the modules such as configuration workbooks, training manuals and process documents are kept up to date
• Supporting on-going chart of accounts maintenance, including adding/removing new GL accounts, updating employees cost centres adding/removing legal entities, configuring new suppliers and dealers in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, adding/removing new bank accounts
• Maintain financial control hierarchies and ensure access restrictions in oracle are appropriate with respect to segregation of duties
• Being the subject matter expert (first point of contact) on al Oracle systems queries
• Coordinate and assist in the resolution of systems issues and raising/ tracking service requests as required
• Support oracle expense module and manage business related queries
• Working together with other team members, deliver continuous improvement through increased automation, process improvement, enhanced reporting

They are a fast paced business and they have a dynamic finance team based in Sydney's CBD. The finance team comprises employees from Big 4 and top tier organisations.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Oracle accreditation
• Proven experience in the implementation of finance systems (preferably Oracle or SAP)
• Prior experience in a Systems Accounting role
• Business Analyst experience preferable
• Working knowledge of accounting preferable
