This high growth and dynamic Technology organisation is looking for an Assistant Accountant to be a part of the next phase of their growth story. Key to their ongoing success has been their ability to disrupt the market and deliver outstanding value to their clients.
On taking up the role you would gain significant exposure across the business and play a key role within the finance team. For the right person this offers fast tracked development to finance manager. Reporting to a supportive Head of Finance.
The role:
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be Responsible for the below including but not limited to:
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with preparing budgets, records, and statements
- Managing day to day queries for the outsource team
- Assisting Head of Finance across the Finance function
- Managing company ledgers
- Assisting with the month end close
- Reporting on debtors and creditors
The successful applicant will have:
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- 1-2 years experience in assistant accountant or Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable
- Hold a relevant Accounting degree
- Energetic and comfortable working in a dynamic small / medium environment
- Strong Excel skills
