An established and fast growing NDIS service provider is seeking an experienced CFO to grow their inhouse financial capability. A large health services group, our client maintains multiple brands in the provision of support services within key NDIS markets across aged care, disability services, youth and community care on the East Coast. This represents a great opportunity for a commercially savvy and tested CFO to develop their career with a growing industry whilst enjoying the lifestyle benefits of the beautiful Gold Coast location.
About the Role
The CFO will be responsible for the overall financial function of the group, providing leadership to a team of accountants.This position will report to the CEO and Board and be an integral part of the leadership team of the business. The CFO will be accountable for overall financial reporting compliance including external audits, ensuring compliance with taxation obligations and compliance with all financial commitments. Working within a small high performing team the successful applicant will be comfortable and willing to be hands-on in the role.
About You
With relevant experience in a commercial role with an ASX listed organisation, the successful applicant will have a proven track record of successful financial leadership and governance. An effective leader, the successful applicant will drive results through empowering success in others, whilst not being afraid to roll up their sleeves when required. Both commercially and financially astute, the successful applicant will be a trusted adviser across all things financial, providing commercially fit for purpose financial strategy and solutions to the CEO and Board.
Demonstrated Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated commercial experience (5-8 years) in a CFO or equivalent role within an ASX listed company.
- Experience undertaking due diligence for mergers & acquisitions.
- Experience in an aged care, disability or health/community service based organisation.
- Hard working, with exceptional personal organisation and time management.
Essential Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary or equivalent qualifications.
- CA or CPA.
- MBA highly desirable.
