With a bright and exciting future ahead of us, we're currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced, versatile and motivated Finance Professionals with FMCG experience to join our Hygiene Home Business Unit. 

This is your chance to join the Finance team at RB Australia, part of a wider global business. You'll be working for a leading FMCG business and will quickly build upon an already impressive career in Finance. 

This role reports to the Finance Business Partner - Sales and is based at our brand new, state of the art offices at World Square, Sydney CBD. 

In this role, you will be responsible for methodical review, process and payment of invoices and promotional activities versus the original agreement with key focus on accuracy. The role will involve working closely with the Sales Finance Business Partner, Sales Finance Controller, National Account Managers & National Business Managers. 

 

  • Ensure Promotions have been approved in timely manner / track promotional approval and therefore accrual generation
  • Ensure Promotional Activity has been coded correctly to chart of accounts
  • Ensure the business is complying with procedures and ensuring the promotional activity is supported with documentation.
  • Track and match invoices to promotional activity
  • Review and match invoices to scan data
  • Update CRM promotions with scan data
  • Review and ensure Invoices payments are in line with promotional activity
  • Closure of promotions once invoices have been matched to promotion. 
  • Create and Manage list of invalid invoices and overpayments and ensuring that National Account Managers are aligned with the final decision
  • Ensure SOP / Procedures are in place and kept up to date

 

Is this You?

 

  • Educated to minimum Bachelor's degree level in a commercial subject
  • Completion or still completing professional CA or CPA (or CIMA) qualifications
  • Min 2 years experience in a analyst capacity
  • With a strong work ethic, high energy levels, and tenacity, you will thrive in an environment where the business responds quickly to the needs to the market
  • You will have excellent technical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to analyse results, interpret data and apply the information to benefit the overall profitability of the business
  • An ability work through complicated issues and succeed in a team orientated environment
  • Proven track record / sales experience with key international or local Retailers
  • Sales experience with a blue chip fast moving consumer goods company
  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
  • Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issue
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation
  • Experience in influencing and engaging key figures in customer organisations
  • Fluent in English but fluency in other languages is advantageous
  • Internationally mobile for career development opportunities
