Your new company
Following an internal restructure an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join one of Australia’s largest and most successful banks in their Internal Audit function. This is a fantastic chance to further your experience within a leading financial services company and gain exposure to a range of business units across the bank.
Your new role
This is a critical role, working across the banks’ various business units and will see you involved in the following:
- Planning and conducting various internal audit assignments in accordance with the annual audit plan
- Liaising with senior management to produce and the audit outcomes and reports
- Discussing findings with line managers and internal audit management group
- Liaising with group risk division to assess and improve internal controls frameworks
- Resolving ad hoc queries from business managers as they arise
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience: - Accounting or Internal Audit qualification - Ideally circa 5 years experience in an internal or external audit position - Have a thorough understanding of audit controls and frameworks, ideally within a financial services organisation - Highly organised, detail focused and accurate - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Ability to work under your own direction and as part of a team
