An experienced Demand Planning Analyst/Management Accountant is required to join this fast paced organisation in the wholesale/distribution sector.
In the role of Demand Planning Analyst you will be responsible for all forecasting activities associated with a range of products. You will create and maintain forecast models incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from a variety of sources.
Duties:
- Develop a demand planning model from the ground up
- Review historical trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
- Refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
- Interact with sales and marketing to understand demand forecast drivers.
In this position you will also support the MD with any models and analysis that is required whilst the organisation change their funding provider. It is therefore essential that you have experience in this area.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong analytical skills and have the expertise to extract information from the system and explain the meaning of the data to the business. You will be experienced in reviewing and improving reports, providing analysis to allow strategic decision to be made and be confident in working with the executive leadership team. In this role, you will have involvement with the month end process and play a key part in producing the board papers.
