About the role
The successful applicant will be responsible for the company's internal bookkeeping functions including accounts, payroll, bank reconciliations, preparing EOM accounts, and assisting Management with the preparation of P&L budgets and Cash flows forecasts. The successful applicant will also be required to communicate and liase with other staff and handle some general HR duties.
Skills and Responsibilities
Previous experience or knowledge of the agricultural industry is highly desirable but not essential for the successful applicant.
At least 3 years+ experience in a similar role including proficiency in completing the following.
- Control the profit and loss for the entity
- Variance analysis of the actual vs forecast
- Partner with the business heads to help them understand their P&L
- Preparation of financial reports
- Perform complex reconciliations
- Liaise with various internal managers regarding process improvements
- Completion and review of budgets
- Managing supplier’s payments as per payment terms and process electronic funds transfer
- Producing AP reconciliation reports and assisting with month end reports
- Processing purchase orders, invoices and payments
- Identifying areas for improvements in processes and workflow efficiencies
- Daily banking and receipting
- Allocation and reconciliation of all cash received
- Must have experience in MS Excel and MYOB.
- Must be a great written and verbal communicator
