Description
Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is responsible for providing financial support to the Operational Stakeholders, as well as detailed analysis to facilitate commercial decision support. The core duties of the role are;
- Manage the commercial aspects of annual budgeting processes and forecasting requirements
- Responsibility for the preparation of business cases and tendering; including contract frameworks, tender preparation, and tender analysis
- Implement and maintain a product standard costing within the business
- Provide regular review and analysis of resulting standard cost variances
- Prepare and provide accurate reporting and analysis on opex, capex & non-financial measures, delivering high level commentary and actionable insights to Senior Stakeholders
- Work closely with the Operations teams on identifying risks and opportunities, as well as tracking upcoming strategic projects and initiatives
- Identify and execute process improvement opportunities, assisting business units with effect cost management and cost control
Profile
- CA/CPA Qualified in addition to a relevant tertiary degree level qualification
- 5+ years’ post graduate experience with emphasis on planning, budgeting, analysis, performance evaluation, forecasting and costing
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, with capex intensive organisations would be preferred
- Ability to effectively utilise spreadsheet applications and modelling tools
- Excellent communication and ability to build rapport at all levels
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to effectively communicate key insights and recommendation
