Key Responsibilities

Working alongside the procurement and finance teams, your key responsibilities will include:

• Analysing venue spend across product categories and suppliers to identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase gross profit
• Providing venue managers and chefs with up to date product and pricing information
• Developing reports for senior leadership to inform decisions on strategic demand management
• Developing supply market engagement and negotiation strategies
• Analysing and evaluating supplier bids to identify opportunities to reduce costs
• Administration and analysis of Navision program
• Manage and deliver ad hoc analysis, modelling and reporting

Candidates will be driven and enthusiastic having experience in analytics and financial accounting and can work alongside a specialised team. Candidates will have 1-3 years of experience in procurement, accounting or a business analytical role and good knowledge of Excel. The role will involve both analysis and reporting results and therefore candidates require excellent verbal and written communication skills. Applicants should be able to work collaboratively with the procurement team and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• An independent self-starter who can work in a team
• Recognised qualifications in their field; Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance or other relevant fields will be highly regarded
• Excellent numerical and statistical analysis skills
• Confident in analysing data in Excel to generate useful insights
• Ability to work well with a demanding workload and time limitations
• Highly self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of data integrity
