The Company
Robert Half is recruiting for a qualified Accountant to join a reputable Not-For-Profit organisation with immediate effect on a temporary basis, with a view to permanency for the right candidate. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a well-respected organisation who can thrive in a busy and challenging environment. The role is for 2 days per week, based in a great location in the Inner Northern Suburbs.
The Role
Reporting into the Manager this role requires someone with a strong Accounting background. The duties will involve:
- Financial reporting
- Reconciling the balance sheet and BAS
- High volume journal processing
- Month end and cyclical reporting
- Managing the day to day transactional bookkeeping duties
Your Profile
The successful candidate will have a strong and proven background in standalone and team-based accounting roles. Experience working within a Not-For-Profit will be highly regarded. The client is looking for a qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting and statutory reporting skills. You will have good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills and thrive in a challenging but fun environment. Intermediate Excel skills are a must.
