We are seeking a Financial Systems Accountant to undertake a project within Local Government for up to 6 months. This position will involve designing, mapping, implementing and testing of a new ledger structure.

Essential Criteria:

• Significant experience in the Civica Authority software with high technical skills in General Ledger and Work Order design. 
• Comprehensive understanding of various Authority modules such as Payroll, Receipting, Trust, Asset, Plant, Inventory and be able to link changes in the ledger structure with these modules.
• Experience in implementing a Work Order Structure and Classifications 
• Experience in use of Resource Groups for reporting purposes.
• Advanced excel skills.
• Experience working with projects stakeholders with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to a variety users. 
• Experience in preparation of Annual Financial Statements in accordance with Local Government Code of Accounting Standard.
• Ability to undertake trend analysis and reporting

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience use of LG Solutions End of Financial Year template highly desirable.
• Experience in use of BIS highly desirable.
