The Company
Robert Half is recruiting for a qualified Accountant to join a reputable FMCG with immediate effect on a temporary basis for 3 months, with the view to permanency for the right candidate. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a well-respected organisation who can thrive in a busy and challenging environment. The role is based in a great location in the Western Suburbs.
The Role
Reporting into the Manager this role requires someone with a strong Financial Accounting background. The duties will involve:
- Financial reporting
- End to end Payroll function
- High volume journal processing
- Month end and cyclical reporting
- Reconciling and consolidating multiple Fixed Asset registers
Your Profile
The successful candidate will have a strong and proven background in FMCG or cost-centre related industries. The client is looking for a CA/CPA qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting and statutory reporting skills. You will have good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills and thrive in a challenging but fun environment. Intermediate Excel and end to end Payroll function skills are a must.
Experience using ERP based systems will be highly regarded but is not essential.
