This business is based right next to the train station at Macquarie Park.

The Role

The opportunity exists to join this organisation as a Senior Accountant within their Group Finance Team. This will be a mixed financial and management reporting role with high visibility across senior leadership within the business.

More specifically, you will be providing the CFO, Executive and Board with reliable and relevant financial and management information across business activities, co-ordination of the group’s budget and forecast processes, manage their controls and procedures, and assist with statutory accounting requirements as well as board papers for the group.

About you (WHAT YOU POSSESS)

This company is looking for an ambitious candidate from one of two career pathways /backgrounds;

1. A candidate making their first or second (have some commercial experience already) move out of a Big 4 or mid-tier chartered firm.The team have a strong  record of hiring top perfomers from chartered and progressing them well in their careers.

OR

2. A well progressed CPA/CA coming out of the group reporting (managing consolidations) function of a large, complex business with 5-6+ years post degree qualification experience.

Regardless you will have exceptional technical accounting knowledge, bring sound commercial awareness and have a continous imporvement mind-set.

Great training and support will be provided, and a strong career plan is in place for the successful candidate with long-term potential to move into commercial roles within the team. 

This company will transfer (NOT initiate) a 457 visa for the right candidate.
