Lindsay Australia Limited is an integrated transport, logistics and rural supply company listed on the ASX. The company has an extensive east coast network of thirty three rural stores and transport depots and employs a staff of over nine hundred.

Lindsay Australia Limited is currently seeking a  Payroll Officer to join the team at Head Office. The position will be offered on a permanent basis

Working in a team of four and reporting directly to the Payroll Project Coordinator the role will include the following

responsibilities;

• Full end to end payroll using the MicrOpay Meridian system
• Entering and checking a high volume of employees with manual timesheets (trip sheets)
• Processing high volume of new starters and terminations
• Updating and maintaining Kronos to ensure all employees are paid correctly
• Ensuring all superannuation contributions are paid correctly
• Calculation and processing of leave entitlements, long service leave, redundancy and termination pay outs
• Ad hoc duties supporting the Payroll Supervisor

The candidate we are looking for will have;

• 3+ years payroll experience (ideally)
• End to end payroll processing experience
• A strong working knowledge of the Kronos time and attendance system (ideally)
• A strong working knowledge of the MicrOpay Meridian payroll system
• Intermediate excel skills
• Superior customer service skills
• The ability to "hit the ground running"
• A positive and friendly demeanour
• Exposure to new system implementation (useful)
