Following years of effort by the Company's engineering team and the successful development of its commercial demonstrator, the Company is now in an early stage of product development and commercialisation.
The role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take full ownership of the finance function for the business, and to work collaboratively with the leadership team to provide business partnership, financial information and commercial support. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will play a key role in the achievement of 1414 Degrees' business goals by shaping the financial accounting and reporting function to support the business in its growth strategies. It is a broad role, incorporating both technical and commercial elements, and managing the delivery of general accounting processes.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role within an ASX listed company. You will have significant experience in the preparation and analysis of the monthly financial accounts and reports for management and directors. Equally important, you will understand and have experience in the Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual statutory reporting requirements for an ASX listed company, banking/treasury finance, hedging, cash flow management and be able to work cohesively with the Executive Team in the preparation of complex business plans.
You will also have exceptional analytical and communication skills and be able to meet tight deadlines in a commercial environment. Experience within the resources/energy sectors would be considered advantageous.
