THE BUSINESS
Established in 1969, the business has grown to be one of Australia’s largest privately owned meat operations. The company operates three processing sites including a pork de-boning facility, a case ready facility and an abattoir. The business serves a wide variety of markets including supermarket, retail, distributor, manufacturing and export.
THE ROLE
Reporting through to the Finance Director, this role is aimed at effectively supporting the Operations and Finance Team in capturing and accurately reporting the financial status of BE Campbell’s plants against approved benchmarks. In addition the position will provide finance related SAP support to the business.
This exciting and busy hands-on role will involve;
- Analyzing the financial results of each plant to identify causes of profitability change compared to prior periods and against budget/forecast
- Provide technical SAP and financial guidance to the business on Materials, Costing and Routing
- Assist the Operational Managers in the preparation of operating budgets/forecasts.
- Providing key support to operations and finance teams in SAP master data maintenance processes
- Managing monthly, mid year and annual performance reviews with direct reports.
THE CANDIDATE
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
- SAP FICO (incl product costing) – Super user level
- 5 years experience in a similar role within a manufacturing company
- Computer literate with well developed MS office skills (including advanced Excel)
- Excellent problem solving/analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- High level organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.
- Understanding and commitment to confidentiality
- Financial experience in a meat processing business ( desirable )
- SAP Material management, Production Planning, Sales & Distribution modules (desirable )
