As part of the Finance team within the Portfolio Service Centre (PSC) this role will help to drive the delivery of accounting and financial services to internal and external stakeholders. The role will manage a team of circa 5, and will focus on process improvement and value add service. The role will cover the funding and payment of corporate and client transactions, financial reporting and the management of bank account facilities.
Key Responsibilities;
The Property Accountant team leader is a key role within the Finance team in the PSC and helps to ensure that all corporate and client payments are made accurately, within deadlines and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Manage a team of 5 Property / Trust Accountants
- Prepare the financial reports of expenditure and revenue rent rolls and reimbursement reports.
- Cash flow management regarding preparation Funds Request Report, reconciliation of reimbursement invoices and processing of batched bank payments.
- Maintenance of the Bank Reconciliation Control Sheet – KPIs
- Set-up and management of bank account facilities and bank reconciliations.
Key Requirements;
The successful candidate will need to be experienced and capable of dealing with internal and external stakeholders to ensure funding is received and payments can be made.
- Tertiary Finance qualification
- CPA qualification – desirable
- 3+ years’ experience in Accountancy
- 1+ years solid leadership experience
- Advanced IT skills
- High proficiency in MS Excel
- Exposure to JDE ideal.
