Our client is currently hiring an accountant with Civica Authority/ Technology 1 experience to work on a General Ledger Restructure Project.

Client Details

Our client is a Local Government Council requires a Financial Accountant with system mapping experience and skills to join their team in Southwest Sydney based team on a 6-9 months contract.

Description

• Lead a systems' mapping project that would play a key role in the restructure of the GL
• Business partnering skills to understand all impacted modules across various departments
• Effective communication to to produce complex financial information to non-financial users
• Ensure compliance with governing laws and regulations across all financial areas of the organisation
• Understand and prepare trend analyses reports
• Manage tax compliance requirements and duties

Profile

*CA/CPA qualified

* Advanced Excel skills

* Experience in Civica Authority software and a comprehensive understanding of various Authority modules (preferred)

* Previous experience in using Technology 1

* Hands on experience in General Ledger technologies

* Proven record of systems mapping and business partnering

* Previous experience with BI softwares is preferred
