A leading international business with extensive manufacturing & distribution operations across Australia. This role ensures the accurate reporting through an in depth understanding of the workings of the business, championing of best practice, the development of process improvements and a close working relationship and partnership with key internal business partners. You must have an advanced level of controlling modules within SAP .

Description
- Ensure process discipline within the SAP controlling environment - FICO; including Product Costing & Profitability Analysis within SAP
- Work closely with business partners in operations to drive compliance, data integrity and also process improvement initiatives
- Oversee accurate management reporting and monthly financial close for the entire business
- Provide initial commentary and analysis on the financial results, identify problems and investigate where appropriate
- Support the commercial teams to provide insightful analysis of product costing, product profitability and customer profitability
Profile
- Extensive and hands on experience in SAP FICO, including PC and PA modules
- A flair for detail, process excellence and best practice
- Ability to influence a wide variety of internal stakeholders
- An excellent grounding in technical accounting standards and reporting
- Previous experience managing the monthly management reporting process within a complex industrial or manufacturing business
- Product costing / cost accounting experience is essential
- CPA/CA Qualified or equivalent
