An urgent temporary assignment has become available for a Payroll Officer. You will be working in a team of 5 and report directly to the Payroll Manager. This role is a temporary assignment with a view to become permanent after 3 months.

Duties:

Processing of weekly pay end to end
Processing leave entitlements
Entering of employee time-sheets
Setting up new starters
Calculating termination payments
End of month reconciliations
Responding to employee queries
Deductions, superannuation, child support & workers comp
Ensure rosters & EBA conditions are met

Skills & Experience Required:

Several years experience as a Payroll Officer
Large ERP experience is preferred
Experience using multiple EBAs
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel
Excellent communication skills
