About the Opportunity
Commencing September 2018, this role is a 14 month contract role and as the Management Accountant, Manufacturing you will be looking after our Rowville site and reporting to the Site Manager, with a dotted line to the Financial Controller, Southern Region.
In this role you will be responsible for the Management Accounting services of the Rowville manufacturing site.
You will actively involve with all areas of the site including Production and Supply Chain. You will play a key role in providing support the Site Leadership Team to deliver improvements to the cost and efficiency of our production operation.
You will also be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Complete Site Financial Results on a monthly basis - Financial & Management
- Assist Site Management with analysis, insights and explanation of monthly results
- Prepare Weekly KPIs and reports
- Prepare Budgets & Forecasts
- Provide financial analysis and advice to the Site Manager to assist in decision making across all aspects of the Site
- Involvement in Continuous Improvement projects for the Site
- Development of Site CAPEX and Business Case submissions
- Provide support to the Costing team, including Loss factors, BOMs and Routings
- Ad hoc Project work for the Site Manager. This role will be challenging and will see you interacting with all levels of the business. You will need to have confident interpersonal skills , be adaptable and flexible, collaborative and be able to work autonomously with minimal instruction.
The successful candidate will have experience working within a Manufacturing Company as a Management Accountant and/or Site Accountant. Any exposure to Food or FMCG would be highly regarded. You must have experience using a major ERP System (i.e SAP) and have a formal qualification in Accounting - CA/CPA is preferred.
