We have created a new vacancy for a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our high performing and energetic Treasury team in our Head Office, based in St Leonards. You will work closely with Treasury Management to develop and maintain robust internal reporting, market analysis and transfer price recommendations.
  
Reporting to the Treasury Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP):
    • You will be responsible for the continued development of our transfer pricing function and providing an advisory focus to internal and external stakeholders on all aspects of FTP
    • Weekly preparation and analysis of transfer pricing for all products using developed transfer pricing tools, keeping abreast of market trends and the impact on FTP
    • Prepare monthly attrition report and provide review on behavioural trends
    • Preparation monthly of recommendation and analysis report - detailing key assumptions underpinning the transfer price calculations for review by Treasury
    • Continuously review the FTP framework to ensure FTP outcomes are appropriate and consistently applied.
    • Provide support and input to new product developments - understanding the underlying funding matrix for new products to ensure appropriate FTP levels are provided
  • Treasury Reporting and Compliance: Assist the team in general Treasury Reporting as required. Provide analysis and recommendation on Treasury KRI’s, including analysis of market best practice
  • Market Analysis: Track primary issuance levels across key markets. Prepare and circulate monitor of new bond transactions and market factors in TFA markets.
  • Profitability Analysis: Profitability analysis across different operating segments. Report on key drivers behind changes in cost of funds and FTP to support commentary to management.
  • General Treasury: Maintain internal processes, procedures, controls and policies, and support the development of new frameworks
  
To ensure your success in this role, you will have:
  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Commerce or similar
  • Strong financial and statistical analytical skills
  • Interest in financial markets and economic trends
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel (essential)
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn SQL
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with senior level stakeholders
  • Ability to analyse and work with complex issues
  • Keen to contribute to change with a continuous improvement mindset
