Description

About the role

• As the Accounts Payable Officer you are responsible for ensuring effective and efficient support to the business with the processing of financial documents and investigation and resolution of Accounts Payable queries in a timely and accurate manner
• Process fixed deals various invoices and transactions
• Reconciliation of complex vendor statements
• Action, escalate, and resolve queries
• Ensure financial processing deadlines are met
• Ensure accounting procedures and internal policies are adhered to
• Identify & advise on process improvement opportunities supporting the AP Lead in the implementation of the change
• Support AP team members with queries and errors correction

Profile

• You will be an experienced Accounts Payable Officer with a strong technical knowledge of Accounts Payable systems and processes
• Preferably have exposure to SAP software
• A strong communicator and collaborator and great relationship builder with internal and external stakeholders
• Able to build and maintain positive, productive relationships with each key internal and external stakeholder
• Able to plan, manage and prioritise own workload to effectively and consistently deliver on individual and team objectives
• Works autonomously
• Have excellent communication and ensures that issues are escalated and managed appropriately
