We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Payroll Officer who has strong attention to detail.

As the Payroll Officer your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct regular end-to-end payroll processing within designated timeframes;
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to clarify any pay, roster, leave or termination discrepancies
  • Assist with the compilation of routine correspondence, reports and any other duties as required;
  • Assistance with EOFY processing and rollovers
  • Maintain and ensure all work is of a high standard and compliant with quality control frameworks.
  • Support and assist in accounts duties as required, duties may include but not limited to, processing of accounts receivable & payable, conduct bank reconciliations and collate and reconcile for end of month reports.

Whilst technical experience is of importance to us, to be considered for our talent pool and future positions, you will have:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ previous experience, preferably within the Construction or Resources industry;
  • Previous experience using payroll software, rostering and timekeeping procedures;
  • Sound knowledge of accounts payable and general accounts procedures;
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills;
  • Ability to operate self-sufficiently and independently when required.
