Maroondah City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Risk and Integrity Officer to join Council's Risk, Information and Integrity.

In this role, you will oversee and work with the Coordinator Risk, Information and Integrity to help monitor and ensure Council's compliance with Fraud and Corruption Control Standards. This includes completing Council's critical roles in relation to Freedom of Infomation and Privacy. You will assist in undertaking the activities and functions of the Risk, Information and Integrity Team in order to work towards achieving an effective risk minimisation culture throughout Council as a means of achieving overall organisational goals.

You will be assisting the Coordinator Risk, Information and Integrity in maintaining a strong and robust Risk Management Program and assist Service Areas in monitoring and maintaining their Risk Register as well as providing specialist advice.

You will be working towards achieving/obtaining tertiary qualifications in Business/Risk Management (or related discipline) and experience conducting risk assessments and audits. The role works within the Risk, Information and Integrity Team and will also be able to assist Council's Information Management Team, as required, as well as conduct quality audit checks of Council's Information Management System.
