Your new organisation
A leading NFP organisation that is funded to deliver the full suite of services for Women and Children who are experiencing family violence.
Your new role
This exciting role demands an experienced Financial Accountant who will be responsible for the end to end finances for the organisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing timely and accurate monthly financial reports.
- Management of the General Ledger.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable.
- Payroll.
- Budgets and Planning.
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Management of Asset register.
- Contributing to the annual audit process.
- Taxation requirements.
- BAS preparation.
- Reconciliations consistent with monthly finance timetable.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will have tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines.
- Previous experience of working in an end to end finance role.
- The ability to read, interrupt and advise on reports.
- Experience in salary packing is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of legislative requirements relating to financial governance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Aptitude for strategic thinking and demonstrated ability to work strongly both autonomously and within a team.
- Advanced Excel and MYOB (or equivalent) skills.
