The Opportunity
The organisation's Tax Services division is seeking an passionate Senior Tax Analyst to join their team. The role has an exciting mix of domestic transaction compliance, analysis and research.
Key responsibilities include:
- Compile tax returns for a broad range of business entities and individuals;
- Research tax issues and draft advice, or technical papers;
- Prepare tax effect accounting work papers;
- Prepare/deliver in-house tax training;
- Ability to understand and research the following concepts; Assessable Income, Allowable Deductions, Capital Allowances, Fringe Benefits Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Loss Provisions, Goods and Services Tax, Division 7A, Taxation of Trusts, Income Tax Consolidation, Transfer pricing and Withholding Tax;
- Develop a broad understanding of the following concepts; Personal Services income, Tax consolidation and Foreign Income.
About you
- CA or CPA qualified or near completion.
- 2-4 years in a similar tax focused role.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ambitious, autonomous and proactive
