Your new company
Your new company is a local government organisation that is seeing rapid expansion of late based in South-West Sydney. As a result of a restructure they now require a systems accountant to assist with a project.
Your new role
Your new role will assist with a general ledger restructure project and will involve designing, mapping, implementing and testing of a new ledger structure. You will be part of an experienced team of accountants but will be leading this project. You will undertake mapping exercise associated with the project which requires advanced excel skills.You should behave the ability to translate complex financial information to non-financial users.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need to be CA/CPA qualified and have demonstrated experience in a similar general ledger project. Experience in Civica Authority software is preferred but not essential.
What you'll get in return
In return for this role you will receive an hourly rate of $45 per hour + Super, parking onsite and gain experience in a local government organisation.
