The company

My client is a growing provider of services to heavy industry clients throughout Australia. Having an established customer base my client is planning to capitalise on this base and expand their operations through capital investment over the next 10 years. This planned growth will increase the businesses turnover rapidly which has created the need for an experienced Management Accountant to facilitate and guide the businesses growth. 

The role

Reporting directly to the CFO this is a newly created role that will take a senior position within the finance function and it would be expected that the Management Accountant would be autonomous in all budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for the various branches across Australia. 

The business currently have a financial reporting and BI function in place allowing you to lean on each area for support whilst guiding the commercial decision making for the wider business throughout the projected growth. 

About you

• CA/CPA qualified
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills
• Experience business partnering in a heavy industry highly desirable
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
