The company: Globally recognised company that are looking to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Officer. Our client is in Parramatta close to public transport with wonderful office views. Staffing 100 people and a team of 8 in finance, this is a great opportunity for your own growth within the company and possibility for internal promotions. The role: Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you will take responsibility for full function Accounts Payable duties PLUS get the opportunity to assist in project related duties as required. Daily duties will include:

• Processing 100+ invoices daily into SAP system
• Invoice coding including PO number
• Batch invoices ready for payment runs on weekly basis
• Send payment runs once approved by manager
• Participate in project related work relating to new reporting, scanning software etc 
• Provide payments reports/summaries to the manager as requested
• Month end reporting
• Assisting with process improvements 

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable officer with a track record of problem solving and troubleshooting when issues arise to add some real value through your work and good ideas. 

The candidate: We are looking for an individual with the following skills, experience, and mindset:

• Minimum 2 years full function Accounts Payable experience 
• Enjoys working in a busy environment and gets the job done
• Excellent inter-personal skills, able to work closely with non-finance employees
• High levels of attention to detail and an analytical thinker
• Attitude to learn and gain more experience while bringing your own to the table
