Fantastic Media business, with global operations is currently offering an unbelievable opportunity to join their dynamic finance team on a contract basis. They have fostered a high achieving culture and offer outstanding opportunities for development, continuous learning and career progression.

The Finance Manager would join an impressive finance function and support the adoption of new accounting standards.  The role will support the implementation of the changes and will have responsibility for;

• Manage the adoption of AASB 15 and AASB 16 including the documentation of accounting changes, financial impacts and revenue accounting changes
• Prepare concise and technically sound accounting papers and be a key liaison on technical accounting matters
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of all financial statement disclosures due to changes in accounting standards
• Work closely with the business in assessing financial impact of commercial decisions and the required accounting changes
• Support the preparation of statutory consolidated reporting and financial statements as required

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you will ideally be CA qualified with impressive commercial experience and hands on exposure to accounting standards change and adoption. You will be required to have excellent communication and presentation skills, a proactive attitude and high attention to detail, as well as;

• Strong technical accounting skills and exposure to accounting changes
• Continuous improvement approach around processes, systems and capabilities to improve both efficiency and effectiveness
