Our Opportunity
Our protected vehicles manufacturing, engineering and design operations are based in Bendigo with a major Support facility in Brisbane. Our products include the Bushmaster, the recently developed Hawkei, survivability enhancement kits, engineering support services and general maintenance services. With an unrivalled passion for what we do, our Support operations are pivotal to the ongoing success of both our Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms.
The Project Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial matters for designated Bids and Projects, providing financial direction, managing the risks and increasing commercial performance.
Responsibilities
- Initializing the project, reviewing the Work Breakdown Structure, and Cost Breakdown Structure, allocating the total budget, implementing management tools and structuring management of risks and opportunities
- Validating the bid’s financial components for the Commitment Control Review
- Verifying that all conditions are met, and ensure validation of order booking by sales
- Coordinating the analysis, update, monitoring and reporting the project’s financial components, in cooperation with project management office, industrial controller, operation controller and sales administration
- Validating sales, gross margin, and adjusted gross margin project accounting
- Ensuring forecasts and monitoring of revenues and cash flow
About You
- Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree in Accounting member of professional accounting body (or comparable)
- Strong experience in the Finance function, and sound commercial acumen
- Experience in executive and senior key stakeholder management
- Demonstrated experience in continuously optimising business performance and processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
