Moxey Farms, part of the AFMH group, is a leader in the Australian Dairy Industry. We operate Australia's largest single site dairy. We are seeking a Financial Accountant to report to the Head of Finance based at our Orange office. You would have responsibility for managing three direct reports, the preparation of the monthly results and annual financial statements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Closing EOM in a timely and accurate manor
- Reviewing all monthly reconciliations
- Assisting in managing the annual audit process
- Approving accrual and other journals
- Preparing the BAS return and FBT return
- Signing off payroll and PAYG tax
- Preparing tax calculations for inclusion in the income tax return
- Overseeing fixed asset register
- Reviewing payment runs for accuracy prior to their approval
- Raising and processing journals including monthly accruals
- Promoting adherence to financial control policies and procedures
About you:
To be successful, you will be CA/CPA qualified with demonstrable and relevant post qualification experience in financial accounting. The ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships is essential.
