My clients is a leading provider of general insurance, life insurance and banking in Australia. A unique opportunity for a Senior Business Performance Advisor has arisen to join the business, where you will work with and lead a team of motivated finance professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional results to shareholders.
You will be performing detailed financial analysis to support, value add and grow the life insurance business.
Responsibilities include:
- Build, develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders including senior executives and staff within other parts of the group
- Preparation of PowerPoint and Excel based presentations and analysis
- Prepare and present detailed financial analysis and modelling to support the business. These include -
- Merger & acquisition due diligence
- Competitor analysis
- Channel/ Distribution profitability assessments
- Investment reporting and analysis
- Capital and balance sheet analysis
- Accounting treatment assessments
- Bespoke financial analysis
Essential Criteria:
- CA/CPA/CIMA qualified
- Minimum of 10 years financial and management accounting experience from within the financial services industry
- Strong financial management, capital management and scenario planning/modelling capabilities.
- Ability to easily recognise the interrelationship between operating/financial decisions and strategic implications
- Robust planning, leadership and project management skills
