About the Opportunity
Samuel Smith & Son now has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Credit Manager to join their team in Adelaide, SA. This is a rare opportunity to become part of an outstanding credit team within an organisation known globally for its reputation in the wine industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a customer ledger, assessing credit risk, and collecting past due debts.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a ledger of approximately 1,000 active accounts using sound Credit Management practices;
- Setting and maintaining appropriate credit limits and terms;
- Ensuring credit applications are legally enforceable;
- Pursuing delinquent accounts;
- Liaising with Insolvency Practitioners; and
- Maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
