The role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Team Leader to support the CFO - Incitec Pivot Fertilizer. Please note that the role includes fortnightly travel to our sites in Mt Isa and Phosphate Hill. Your responsibilities include the following:

• Managing and providing support to our Northern Operations
• Review of Capital Expenditure proposals for responsible areas to ensure proposals meet strict IPL financial hurdles
• Develop and enhance business compliance within Operations team and ensure processes are consistent with internal control requirements by liaising with both internal and external corporate auditors and Group Controller to monitor and eliminate areas of control weaknesses
• Lead in development and production of annual budgets and forecasts for Northern Operations
• Analysis and interpretation of all fixed and variable costing components.
• Demonstrating financial leadership through reporting and general communication.

About you:

• Exceptional understanding of Australian Accounting Standards
• Advanced SAP capabilities in FICO, CCA and Fixed Assets will be highly regarded
• Experience in financial modelling is highly desirable.
• Exposure in the manufacturing/mining environment with excellent knowledge of cost key drivers.
• Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting with a CPA/ CA will be highly advantageous.
