A domestic bank are looking for a Director to join their Internal Audit division to help drive audit engagements and build strong stakeholder relationships within the business.
You will lead a team in the provision of:
- Objective and insightful assurance on the framework
- Processes for risk management and compliance
- Financial and operational control with a focus on market operations and management of the governance process.
The successful applicant will have extensive experience in risk consulting, internal and/or external audit in banking or financial services.
You Will:
- Establish and maintain constructive relationships with senior management at the bank
- Over-see Internal Audit assignments
- Source, manage and develop members of the Internal Audit team and ensure they are delivering a high standard of quality in their work
- Lead the Internal Audit planning process including the preparation and discussion of the annual internal audit plan and scheduling of assignments
- Deliver the approved Internal Audit Plan
- Contribute to the strategy for internal audit and change management initiatives
