About the Role
Manage the month end accounting, reporting and insights for the Logistics National Team and the major distribution centres. Be an integral part of the quarterly forecast process as well as the budget preparation and presentation. Present analytical data to offer insights and support decision making by building modelling and creating business case justification. Implement processes and procedures to streamline the reporting function.
What you'll do:
- Be responsible for the financial integrity of Logistics costs across all pillars
- Month end reporting, commentary and creation of the month end packs
- Quarterly national cost centre forecasting and budget preparation
- Provide ongoing maintenance of the forecast and budget model
- Assist with the quarterly business review presentation
- Assist with post implementation reviews
- Provide direction and advice to the operations team on P&L impacting matters, including management of capital assets and material handling equipment
- Work with stakeholders to refine and streamline processes
What you'll bring:
- Minimum 5 years experience in FMCG or similar role an advantage
- CA/CPA Qualified
- SAP, TM1 experience
- Advanced PC Skill: Excel/Word/ Powerpoint
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Process improvement focus
- Commercial acumen
