Your new company
Your new company is a state government organisation based in Parramatta CBD who require a temporary Accounts Payable Officer to join their team for a 6 month contract.
Your new role
Your new role will join an established team as the first point of contact for the processing of payments. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Manual entering of invoices into the Ellipse and Pronto systems
- Liaising with suppliers and team members to resolve issues
- Recording and interpreting data using Excel
- Processing of high volume transactions
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need to have demonstrated experience as an AP in a large organisation and understand the end-to-end procedure for the processing of invoices. As this role is temporary, experience in Ellipse and Pronto is essential. Previous experience in a state government organisation or a shared service environment is highly regarded.
