The Role
In this full function accounts receivable and payable position, you will be responsible for:
• Processing a high volume of purchase invoices
• Receipting of all customer payments
• Debtor and creditor reconciliations and journals
• Debtor Collections
• Researching and resolving payment discrepancies
• Handling supplier enquiries regarding payment
• Collation of invoices
• Assisting with month-end closing
• Reconciliations and reporting
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and reporting
• Various general administration duties
You
Whilst strong experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable role is obviously critical, so too is your flexible and positive attitude. You are someone who doesn't mind helping out where needed and you build strong working relationships, both internally and externally. Your attention to detail and customer service focus complements your ability to work to methodically and prioritise in a high volume fast-paced environment. A quick learner with accurate data entry skills, you have advanced MYOB and Excel skills, and experience processing in an ERP system. GST knowledge is a must, and experience with the requirements around a listed company or one that has very strict timelines is an advantage in this role.
