• $80,000 - $85,000 + super + bonus

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Monthly general ledger account reconciliations/assisting with month end process
• Preparation and processing of adjusting journals
• General ledger maintenance and trial balance
• Reviewing and processing subcontractor construction claims
• Assistance with effective cash flow management
• Financial reporting and tax compliance
• Quarterly statutory reporting (BAS)
• Fixed asset register maintenance
• Assistance with payroll function
• Work with finance team to identify and implement business process improvement
• Other ad hoc duties to support the team

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in an accounting or business degree. You will have come from a chartered accounting environment or a large business with a complex finance structure. You will be part or newly qualified CA / CPA and possess strong excel skills. You will have a critical mindset and want to help drive business performance. The willingness to learn and develop your accounting skills, as well as good attention to detail are a must for all successful candidates.
