TT-line is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to be part of the Devonport based finance team. 

An opportunity exists to enhance and grow your individual skill set while working with a broad based finance team which touches on many areas of the operations of both the Spirit of Tasmania vessels and the Edgewater Hotel.

Do you have?

• Relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated substantial experience in a similar financial role

• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and seek direction as required

• Confidence and ability to liaise with all areas of the business and external parties

• Outstanding communication and written skills

• Ability to prioritise under pressure and meet deadlines

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines to a high standard of accuracy

• Sound financial and accounting knowledge

Reporting to the assistant Financial Controller, your position is responsible for the financial efficiency of the finance team by doing the following:

• Preparation of month end journals and reconciliations within specified deadlines.

• Oversee transactional data to ensure compliance with GST/FBT legislation and company policies and guidelines.

• Maintenance of asset registers (Accounting and Tax).

• Processing electronic supplier payments.

• Calculation and processing of GST and PAYG payments.

• Daily cash management.
