About the role 

As the Junior Financial Accountant, you will support the Financial Reporting Manager and CFO through an exciting period of company growth. For the right candidate this is a genuine temp to perm opportunity. This role is an ideal stepping stone for an experienced Assistant Accountant to step into a Financial Accounting role. 
The responsibilities
  

• FBT Return – expense review, analysis and documentation,
• Assisting with preparation of financial statements, (including GL reconciliations, analysing GL transactions, verifying stock, fixed assets, tax reconciliations)
• Review and analysis of YTD GL transactions,
• Supporting the business in ERP implementation,
• Setting up records and bookkeeping for trust entities and non-trading entities,
• Cashflow forecasting,
• Other adhoc tasks as required

The successful applicant will have
 
You will be a qualified accounting professional with at least 3 years’ experience in a commercial financial accounting or similar role. Additionally, you will have exceptional communication skills, strong Microsoft Excel skills and potentially have had experience with Mid tier ERP Experience within the FMCG industry will be viewed as highly advantageous.
