We were established in 1993 with the opening of a chain of service stations and convenience stores in South Australia. Over the next two years, United Petroleum expanded operations into Victoria and built networks in New South Wales, ACT and Queensland. As of 2017, United Petroleum acquired Pie Face and is now looking to roll this exciting new offer out across its 400+ sites nationwide.
Purpose of the role:
In this position you will be responsible for all Finance related tasks including invoicing customer accounts, pricing, allocations, accounts queries, reconciliations, opening new accounts and other adhoc duties.
Accountabilities:
- Invoicing and reconciliation of customer accounts
- Providing customers and internal customers with superior service - friendly, informative, effective and efficient.
- Assist with accurate and timely month end process
- Collating & Mailing Statements / Tax invoices on a monthly basis
- Establish and maintain a professional and effective relationship with all external and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all incoming phone calls are answered in a timely manner
- Preparing all supporting financial documentation for customer refund when required
- Investigate and resolve customer queries
- Following company policies and procedures
- Filing & adhoc administration duties as directed
To be successful in this role you must:
- Proven experience working to time-critical deadlines
- Intermediate computer literacy skills including intermediate Microsoft Word & Excel skills
- Good accounting knowledge
- Accurate literacy & numeracy skills
