Based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, this elite global organisation is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join their Accounting team.
This full time opportunity will enable an experience Accountant to take ownership of their tasks and responsibilities, completing month end and various fundamental accounting functions in a timely and complete manner.
The successful candidate will be proactive in supporting the business and team while having a calm, resilient, flexible and can do attitude.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly accounts and variance analysis
- General Ledger reconciliations and journals
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting processes as required
- AP reconciliations, payments, cashflow and banking as required
- Process journals across multiple entities
- Reconciliations of balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested by Senior Management
Key requirements
- CA/CPA Qualification with relevant Bachelor Degree
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate with individuals across all levels of business
- Previous experience in a broad accounting role is required
- Outstanding computer literacy, with an emphasis on MS Excel (pivot tables, v-look up)
- Ability to prioritize and manage in a high volume environment
- Customer service and client focused
