The Opportunity: We have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join the Dexus Strategy, Transactions and Development Team in a newly created Portfolio Analyst role. Working closely with the Investment Manager, this Portfolio Analyst will assist in the management of the listed Dexus portfolio with the objective of optimising the portfolio’s performance.
The Role: At the core of this analytical and fast paced role, this Portfolio Analyst will support the Investment Manager in the development, implementation and monitoring of a portfolio across the Dexus balance sheet assets. This role is both internally and externally focussed, working with a breadth of stakeholders and customers on potential reinvestment in existing assets as well as the development of acquisition and exit strategies.
The Potential: We are looking for an analytical thinker who will be able to provide strong technical advice and recommendations to the stakeholders to support complex transactions and negotiations. You will be degree qualified and have worked in the real estate world for 3-5 years. During this time, you have developed a thorough understanding of financial modelling and ideally, have prior knowledge or exposure to corporate strategy or financial advisory. You possess a real knack for building relationships with your stakeholders, enabling you to manage, influence and negotiate at any level, with ease. Being an analytical thinker, you will be agile in nature and able to effectively operate with minimal direction and in ambiguity, without ever compromising on quality.
