About the role
The role will see you sitting alongside the IT Team managing the Finance function across a few major projects for the business. Starting as a six-month contract, this role could go longer term for the right candidate.
Your core duties will be:
- Financial and management reporting across a large project portfolio, providing meaningful insights on its cost base and ways to effectively reduce costs.
- Lead and work with the technology team and business stakeholders to provide robust project financial profiles, forecasts and insights that support decision making.
- Ensure all projects are consistent and compliant with group’s governance, execution frameworks and accounting policies.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across relevant business units
Your Profile
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have the following experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in financial management, preferably in financial services
- CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
- Working knowledge of accounting practices within the finance industry
- Excellent proficiency in translating and analysing data
- Strong financial modelling experience
- Good prioritisation skills
