We have a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join our APAC Finance team. This is a full time role based in either our Brisbane (Spring Hill) or Sydney (Lane Cove) office.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Director and working within a small finance team your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Assessing credit risk and credit approval
- Timely collection of outstanding debts
- Maintenance of 30 day debtors ledger for Australia and New Zealand
- Developing strong relationships with customers
- Liaising with clients regarding their accounts
- Dealing with queries, disputes and negotiations
- Processing of credit card payments
- Process credit adjustments and allocate to account
- Preparing monthly statements and reports
Skills and experience
You will need to have a minimum of three (3) years' of experience, preferably gained with a professional services firm.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Strong negotiation skills
- High level customer service skills
- Experience working with construction industry and government clients
- A reputation as a team player with a can-do attitude
