We have a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join our APAC Finance team.  This is a full time role based in either our Brisbane (Spring Hill) or Sydney (Lane Cove) office.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Director and working within a small finance team your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Assessing credit risk and credit approval
  • Timely collection of outstanding debts
  • Maintenance of 30 day debtors ledger for Australia and New Zealand
  • Developing strong relationships with customers
  • Liaising with clients regarding their accounts
  • Dealing with queries, disputes and negotiations
  • Processing of credit card payments
  • Process credit adjustments and allocate to account
  • Preparing monthly statements and reports

Skills and experience

You will need to have a minimum of three (3) years' of experience, preferably gained with a professional services firm. 

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • High level customer service skills
  • Experience working with construction industry and government clients
  • A reputation as a team player with a can-do attitude
