Bookkeeper needed for a small payroll of 6 staff. Responsible for maintaining financial records of business transactions including company ledgers to the trial balance and preliminary P&L / Balance Sheet for submission to external accountant.
 
 Key responsibilities:

• Preparation and payment of payroll and superannuation, as authorised by management
• use of MYOB
• Preparation and payment of BAS and other tax payments, as authorised by management
• Bank account (s) reconciliation (s)
• Accounts receivable
• Accounts payable
• Coding and data entry of invoices and vendor paperwork into the general ledger
• Preparation of various financial reports as requested by management
• Weekly / Monthly review of planned tasks on finance calendar
• Matching of purchase orders and processing invoices
• Processing employee expense reimbursements
• Handling Petty cash
• Reports to  external company Accountant as required
• Other duties as directed by the Managing Director or his designate
