About the Role
This is a varied and challenging position within the management team which will see you closely working to support Aged Care business stakeholders, using your strong business partnering skills and analytical skills.
The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage timely and accurate month end process
- Perform value-adding variance analysis of monthly management reports
- Manage annual budget process
- Business stakeholder engagement
- Complete ad hoc reporting / analysis per requirement
- Supervise junior staff of the management accounting team
- Ensuring accommodation bonds and RADs are entered and retentions deducted
About you
In order to be successful in this role, you will have:
- Sound commercial acumen and proven analytical skills
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an accounts role, ideally in aged care
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills - ability to liaise effectively with all key stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Attention to detail
- Aged Care or Health Care experience including knowledge of the funding process and industry reforms
- CA/CPA qualified with relevant tertiary qualifications will be an advantage
